Origin of the 9-12 Project
The 9-12 Project
was designed to bring us all back to the place we were on September 12,
2001. The day after America was attacked we were not obsessed with Red
States, Blue States or political parties. We were united as Americans,
standing together to protect the values and principles of the greatest
nation ever created. Since then, America has slowly been driven apart;
polarized by a sychophantic mainstream media. We have too much at stake
on a national and global level to allow the divisiveness to continue.
That's why the battle cry of The 9-12 Project is UNITE OR DIE.
The 9 Principles
1. America is good.
2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.
3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.
4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.
5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.
6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.
9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.
The 12 Values
* Honesty * Reverence * Hope * Thrift * Humility * Charity
* Sincerity * Moderation * Hard Work * Courage * Personal
Responsibility * Friendship
Tea Parties
April 15, 2009 marked the first nationally acknowledged Tax Day Tea
Party. Many of us joined together with others who shared a
dissatisfaction for our current self-obsessed, bloated government in
peaceful demonstrations in Fort Collins, Loveland and Greeley. Though
the liberal media downplayed the significance of the Tea Parties
nationally, those of us who participated were encouraged to find
thousands of others who shared our frustration and were willing to do
something about it.
Since that day, patriots from all walks of life, most of whom never
protested anything before in our lives, have attended dozens of
Rallies, Tea Parties and Town Hall meetings in an effort to remind our
elected officials that we care. Though we have been ignored or
demonized by the mainstream media, our voices have had an impact. Contrary to the skewed reports of the mainstream media, over 1.5
million people attended a peaceful protest at the US Capitol on
9/12/09, and thousands of us demonstrated locally at the Colorado State
Capitol in Denver.
Until the ballots are counted in 2010, Tea Party Protests and rallies
like them are some of the only ways we can command the attention of
Washington and our state and local representatives.
