While the Windsor 9-12 Group is completely unaffiliated with any political party, we believe one of the best ways to affect change is to educate ourselves thoroughly about the candidates of any party in the hopes of identifying those who stand for and represent the 9 Principles and 12 Values. As a group we encourage accountability in the political arena by communicating our expectations with our local and state leaders, and by individually voting for legislation that lines up with these core beliefs.

The November, 2010 elections
proved that America has had enough of Washington's reckless, big spending, big government policies. Though the victories in Colorado were mixed, we can find hope in the fact that our legislators here and in Washington heard our voices loud and clear. Now, it's up to us to hold our new representatives accountable, regardless of what side of the aisle they are on.
Upcoming Local Elections:
Windsor is in desperate need of new leadership. Many of the current board members have forgotten their roles as servant to the townspeople, and as a result, Windsor government continues to usurp the power reserved for the people.

It is our responsibility to act locally to take back our government and restore TRUE representation and accountability here in our own Town.

Please read the Town Charter so you can see what your rights are, and then attend a Town Board Meeting to see for yourself whether your representatives are acting according to your best interest....or theirs.

The following board seats will be up for election in April, 2012:

Mayor, currently held by John Vazquez
District 1, currently held by Don Shanfelt
District 3, currently held by Matthew O'Neill
District 5, currently held by Robert Bishop-Cotner
